The Accurate Background API makes filtering candidates easy, and also flexible. For maximum automation, request that Scoring be turned on for your account when you go into production, by emailing [[email protected]] (mailto:[email protected])

Each Order is composed of one or more individual search products. Each search product has a status field, a flag field, and a result field.

The status of each individual search product shows when the reporting for that item is COMPLETE.

The flag parameter indicates whether any adverse record was discovered while processing the search. A flag value of true indicates that an adverse record was found and that the record should be reviewed further.

The result of an individual search may be NO RECORD FOUND, RECORD FOUND, NOT APPLICABLE, or another value, depending on the specific search.

Common search results include: [PENDING, COMPLETE, NO RECORD FOUND, RECORD FOUND, VERIFIED, UNABLE TO VERIFY, NEGATIVE, POSITIVE, WORK AUTHORIZED]

Enable Scoring to reach maximum automation

If you have not requested Scoring to be enabled for your account, the order result will remain empty, and you will evaluate your own results by looking at the values of the flags and results of the individual search products. Getting Scoring enabled for your account is as easy as sending a quick email to [[email protected]] (mailto:[email protected]) to have it set up.
